Pru opened her workshop and gallery at Studio 42 on the High Street in Manningtree in 2022, a long way from the wheelwright's premises she bought in Lincolnshire in 1966, along with a small convenience store, petrol pumps and a milk delivery service. Pru transformed these into the well-known Alvingham Pottery, where she ran a café alongside the ceramics workshop and gallery.
Later Pru created and ran the Gwili Pottery in Carmarthen, another successful working studio and gallery.
The next chapter took Pru to East Anglia where she settled in Wivenhoe and built The Sentinel Gallery.
Throughout her career Pru has managed large teams of ceramicists, some of whom have become successful and well known potters in their own right.
Pru invests her time and expertise into every piece, which is expertly thrown and hand-painted, then glazed and fired ready to be claimed by its new owner.

Each piece is expertly thrown to form the clay body

Once formed Pru hand-paints each piece in her distinctive style
